Paje is waiting

From white-sand beaches to nearby villages, from hidden caves to ocean sunsets: every corner of Zanzibar tells a story, all within easy reach.

One kilometre from the resort, reachable on foot along the beach or via the main road. Quiet streets, souvenir shops, cafés and local restaurants where life flows at the island’s authentic pace. The right place to truly understand where you are.

A natural limestone cave hidden inland, with a crystal-clear freshwater pool inside. Swimming here, surrounded by silence and rock formations, is an experience that’s hard to put into words.

The capital of Zanzibar, about an hour from the resort. Narrow streets, carved doors, mosques and churches. The meeting point of Arab and African culture, a labyrinth of history and scents to get pleasantly lost in.

A restaurant on a rock. Overlooking the Indian Ocean off the coast of Zanzibar, reachable on foot at low tide or by boat at high tide. A unique dining experience where the setting matters as much as the food.

A corner of Zanzibar’s eastern coast where the ocean sunset becomes a spectacle. Relaxed atmosphere, extraordinary views. The kind of place you don’t expect and don’t forget.

A few minutes by boat from the coast, an island with a remarkable history and remarkable inhabitants: giant tortoises roaming freely. Beyond the wildlife, historic structures and a timeless atmosphere that tells the story of the archipelago’s past.

A stretch of white sand surrounded by the ocean, emerging at low tide and disappearing at high tide. Swimming here, walking on the sand with turquoise water all around, is one of those moments that stays with you.

A small private island off the northeast coast, renowned for its exceptional seabed. Sea turtles, tropical fish and colourful coral reefs: a paradise for those who want to discover what lies beneath the surface of the Indian Ocean.

Just 15 minutes from the resort, Zanzibar’s most famous forest is home to the red colobus monkeys, rare and curious creatures moving through the trees with disarming ease. A short excursion that’s worth every minute.

A full day at sea aboard a dhow, the traditional Zanzibari wooden boat.

Snorkelling among the coral, unspoilt lagoons and the Indian Ocean sun: the best way to see Zanzibar from the water.

Every evening, a different spectacle over the ocean. The colours of sunset on the water here have something special about them: African light meeting the vastness of the sea.

Every 21 days, the full moon rises directly from the resort’s beach. Sitting on the sand to wait for it, with the sound of the waves as a backdrop, is one of those simple moments that becomes the most cherished memory of the holiday.
